Carlton's Bio

Carlton Williams
Lead Pastor |
Carlton’s life mission is to help people discover and demonstrate to full potential, their God-given magnificence for the benefit of humanity and to enjoy personal fulfilment. This mission is expressed in both christian ministry and business settings.
In the business arena, he is passionate about fanning the entrepreneurial spirit which he believes resides in each individual and teaching entrepreneurs principles that enable them to develop businesses that create sustainable wealth.
Carlton has a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos and an MBA from City University in London. He is also a graduate of DOMATA School of Missions and School of the Local Church, both in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He has a clear and passionate teaching style; helping believers to see who they are in Christ that they may live lives of impact and relevance. Whether speaking to thousands at International teaching conferences or much smaller groups at local assemblies, Carlton’s belief that one person can make a difference to a generation is clearly expressed in his passion and focus on the individual.
His ministry roots started in 1985 during his college days where he pioneered a christian fellowship called The Love Ward. This fellowship grew to several hundred strong and served as the foundation for many christian ministers who are in active ministry today.
After his ordination in 2001 under Grace Fellowship in Tulsa, he founded The Wordcentre: a vibrant and dynamic church in the heart of London, teaching God's Word with a refreshing approach. He also founded and was Dean of INSIGHT, a weekend bible training programme focused on establishing the believer in practical application of doctrinal truth.
Carlton moved to Nigeria in 2007 where he has established High Life Church and is expanding into different businesses and ministries all armed with the purpose of helping people explore, experience, express and exhibit the higher life of God.
Apart from his active itinerary, Carlton enjoys playing the saxophone, guitar and chess.
He lives with his wife Anita and has four children: Vanessa, Keona, Zain and Zoella.
