The Story So Far...

Highlife Church is the culmination of the dream of Carlton and Anita Williams. Having lived in the UK for 18 years and founded and pastored a church in London for six years, they sensed God leading them to move to Nigeria in November 2007.

Carlton took up several professional appointments and Anita set about establishing an Interior design business: a passion, second only to her love for stimulating kids through creative learning programs.

As is normal with Jesus who unfolds his plans step by step as we walk in obedience to His lead, it became obvious to them that setting up a church here in Lagos was the centre of God’s purpose for the move to Nigeria.

After a few months of fellowship at their home on Lagos Island, Highlife Church had its first  public service on the 1st of February 2009 at Opium Bar & Restaurant (formerly called Jazz Sessions) in Victoria Island in Lagos.

Highlife Church is a vibrant, growing, christian community, passionate about God and people. Through relevant transformational teaching, the presence of God and authentic relationships, we aim to be a positive influence in our society by living out the higher life.
